The trail happened from 13:46 to 13:56 at October 23th 2019, departing from the hotel Rifugio Maison Vieille to Rifugio Giorgio Bertone in Courmayeur, which is an Alpine resort in northwest Italy, at the foot of Mont Blanc. The total length of the trail is about 10 kilometers. The details can be found on the right map, which is highlited in the bold black.
2. Goal
The project is to convert GPX file into RDF triples that can be uploaded in GraphDB. The goal is to make queries using sparql to RDF graph, and recommend the interesting tourist information relevent with the trail. In the same time, we require that all recommendations are close to the trail, specifically, should be within 300-500 meters around the trail.
3. Tourist Information
a) Place of Interest Recommendation
This part will recommend places of interests which are close to the trail. Specifically, some viewpoints will show up if the button below is clicked. Viewpoint means a place worth visiting, often high with a good view of surrounding contryside or notable buildings. In this case, there're three viewpoints around the trail: one is close to the starting point of the trail and another two are close to the end point. (The exact location is shown on the map.) Tourists are recommended to visit there for a bird-view of surroundings
b) Place of Amenity
This part is about the facilities or buildings which would be useful or needed by visitors. Some examples may be like: restaurant, cafe, parking, toilet, fuel , post_box and etc. Visitors may need to enjoy a good meal at a nearby restaurant, or take a coffee at a cafe to relax and recharge themselves. Also if visitors are driving, they could also need to fill their tanks at a fuel station or want a parking lot to stop the vehicles and walk around. Or some visitors want to mail a postcard to friends at the post office.

c) Place of Shop
This part gives places of business that sell goods, considering some visitors love shopping or just need to buy some featured local products especially for foreigners. In this case, there's a sports shop along the trail at the downtown of Verrand, which can be seen by clicking the button below. This is useful when for example visitors are coming here for skiing in winter, thus would need to buy skiboard and relevent equipments.
